Salzhütte, Innenraum der Salzhütte und Salzhöhle The aim of the salt grotto is to achieve and maintain an ideal microclimate, rich in elements and microelements, which has a positive effect on the human body. Our Salt Cave is a kind of on earth reconstruction of the underground mine that doesn't differ from the authentic one. It resembles its physical, chemical, biological, and thus its healthy conditions. The old mine was carefully reconstructed to preserve the temperature, humidity and specific and unique microclimate existing on the depth of 200m of the Wieliczka mine in south of Poland.

The Salt Grotto is built from natural, thick blocks of sea salt from Poland and Pakistan and is constructed to resemble a cave like environment. It is equipped with the latest air conditioning and ventilation, a safe electrical supply and a built-in hi-fi system; ensuring a wonderfully refreshing and relaxing experience.

All grottos are fully furnished. Subtle lighting- colour therapy- is used to create a unique as well as relaxed atmosphere. It's a well know fact that, through scientific and empirical research, salt crystal lamps exhibit biophysical characteristics, which demonstrate a positive effect on our well-being. From a scientific view there are three natural action principles at play: ionization, the electromagnetic oscillation and colour therapy.










The floor surface is covered with a thick layer of granulated salt to provide a healthy and pleasant environment where a soothing and relaxing foot massage is provided while strolling with your socks on

The salt cave is additionally equipped with waterfalls, fountains, special wicker columns and saline containers, which create a unique marine microclimate known to have a positive effect on your health and general well-being
